About Us

ESTEEM Dance Shoes is an extension of Dance Esteem. We source a wide variety of dance shoes and tights for dance teams in Minnesota and many surrounding states. We specialize in high school and college dance teams using Jazz shoes and turners, as well as tights. We have wholesale accounts at many distributors to get you most any specific shoes or tights you are looking for. We carry Paul Wright, Capezio, Bloch, Weissmans and more! We are the exclusive shoe provider for the award winning University of Minnesota Dance Team as well as many others featured at the 2025 Best of the Best Show. 

Our owner, Lindsay Brown LOVES dance teams, having been a dancer and coach at both the HS and collegeiate level, she knows and understands the needs of strong programs and stong athletes.  She is very involved in the dance program as Alumni at the University of Minnesota. 

In 2009, Lindsay Brown founded Dance Esteem based in Plymouth, MN. Our studio aims to be a place where dancers can have fun, meet life long friends, feel empowered to try new things, and nourish their self esteem all while building excellent dance technique. We  offer dance and tumbling options for all ages and levels and are very proud of our competivice program as well!  

We believe in Community over Competition.  So we created Esteem Dance Shoes to help our dance community have the best dance shoes at the BEST possible prices. Our goal is to make sure that every dancer has the love, support and attaire to be the best dancer and friend that they can be! We use our studio contacts to help dance teams be uniform and affordable.
